In February, C. Andrew Nelson was elected to the Board of Directors of the Bay Area Branch of the Visual Effects Society.  The San Francisco Bay Area branch is the largest branch of the VES outside of Los Angeles.  Andrew was elected to a two-year term.  “It’s an incredible honor to have been elected,” Andrew says, “The VES has done so much for me. I am thrilled to be able to give back to the society and help grow it’s a presence in the Bay Area entertainment community as well as the industry in general.” Andrew was also involved in the selection process for the nominees for the recent Visual Effects Society Awards which aired February 19th on the Reelz Channel.

The film My Name Is Khan is out on DVD this week and features a brief performance by C. Andrew Nelson. The film stars Shah Ruhk Khan.
